Originally created in September 2007 as an entry into Joomla's template contest, the "Purity" design by JA has since gone on to become one of the most popular front-end designs for the Joomla CMS. The template is highly accessible, elegant and easy to customize.
Features
Like all the designs offered by OES, this template is fully customizable to meet your needs but there are a few features that come standard, and some that do not. Some features which come bundled standard with this layout are:
- 12 predefined module positions (including a dedicated banner space below the content area), for easy implementation of plugins
- Support Multi color & Multi screen width configuration (Fluid/Narrow/Widescreen/Fixed in pixel or percentage)
- Integrated with JA Suckerfish and JA MooMenu. Support additional menu add-on to expand navigation system.
- Option to use Logo as Text or Image
- 5 module suffixes (_red, _green, _blue, _black, _text )
- Well hand-coded typography
- Well structured and SEO-optimized source code.

- Cross-browser compatibility with Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox, Safari and Opera1.

- Fully support RTL2
In addition, the following features can be individually customized to suit your own tastes and needs:
- Additional banner space can be added above the content for greater visibility
- Select your own background colours, fonts or text styles
- Choose your own randomly-displayed header images (600x80 pixels)
- Menu styles and designs, customized to your needs (This design works particularly well with animated drop-down menus - move your mouse over the "Check this out" option in the top menu to see for yourself)

Notes
- Compatibility with other browser platforms is entirely possible but cannot be guaranteed.
